How can we help?

Straightforward answers about matching, merging, parcel revisions, fulfilment and plans.

Getting started

Does Merge Me merge orders automatically?

It can. Turn automatic merging on in Settings and each paid order is checked after your chosen delay. When automation is off, use Manual Matches instead.

What makes two orders compatible?

You can require the same Shopify customer and delivery address, or match by delivery address only. Payment, fulfilment, time-window and product safety checks still apply.

What do the delay and matching window control?

The delay controls when each new paid order is checked. Set it to zero for an immediate check. The matching window controls how far apart the first and last orders in one parcel may be.

Merges and parcel changes

Can I choose orders manually?

Yes. Enter two or more Shopify order numbers in Manual Matches. If the customer or address differs, Merge Me warns you and asks which order supplies the delivery details.

Can I remove only part of a combined parcel?

Yes. Select one or more original orders from the merge record. Merge Me builds one flat replacement from the genuine originals that remain, without nesting the earlier combined order.

Can I undo a complete merge?

Yes, before the parcel has entered picking or shipping. Always check your fulfilment software or 3PL first because an imported parcel may also need to be removed there.

Shipping and fulfilment

Which delivery method is used?

Choose a simple rule such as the highest-priced, oldest or newest order's method, or rank your own delivery methods from fastest to slowest.

What happens to the original orders?

Your settings control archiving, temporary holds and when original fulfilment is updated. Check how your fulfilment software handles archived or held Shopify orders before enabling those choices.

Does tracking return to the original orders?

With after-shipment fulfilment selected, Merge Me copies the combined shipment's carrier, tracking number and tracking link to the permitted original orders after the combined order ships.
